Working on the Mozilla Festival (MozFest) 2014, Mozilla’s annual festival that brings together a community of web makers from across the world. The event lasted 2.5 days with focus being placed on sharing knowledge, we took over the 9 levels of Ravensbourne and open it’s doors to over 1500 people. There was also various keynotes and a fullfument package of over 1000 FireFox OS mobile phones that were given to people who attended. I was leading on the logistical side of the festival, organising supplies, rooms, meeting venues as well as other technical requests from facilitators. I also helped with the organisation of travel and visa invitation letters and accomadation.
Here is Gunner, one of the curators of the Mozilla Festival, talking about exactly what it’s all about.
